The new Yamaha F115 outboard will be lighter and more powerful than the motor it replaces, according to Yamaha, which released specs in January and debuted the four-cylinder four-stroke at the Miami International Boat Show. The new F115 will reach dealers sometime in the second quarter of 2014, with an MSRP of $11,445 for the 20-inch remote control version. Salona 45 raced by the Irish Defence Force in the Beaufort Cup beating up the shore to stay out of the tide shortly after the start of the Harbour Race of Cork Week 2024. With over 100 boats on the start line everyone was fighting for air shortly after the start, with the tide coming in all day it paid to get right early to find both clear air and some relief from the stronger tide out in the main channel.
