Let’s talk about those Sailfin Snapper in one of our Ribbons Reef episodes, we’ve been getting a lot of comments on this footage. While we’ve seen plenty of smaller schools over the years, this one was HUGE! We can only assume they were spawning on this reef edge when we came across them - as a lot of other species seemed to be around the same time. Amazing to witness and catch on film. Secondly, a few people have told us these are good eating however the first thing that shows up on a google search is that they’ve got a high cig risk. So yeah, don’t think I’ll risk that. This delightful ORIGINAL cocktail recipe features rum, lemon juice, and Domaine de Canton - a ginger liqueur! 🍹 Ingredients 2 ounces Domaine de Canton 2 ounces rum 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed White of 1 egg (optional) Garnish: Lemon wheel Steps Add Domaine de Canton, rum, lemon juice, and egg white to shaker.
