Morning from Buren Bay! I just inflated my SUP (with mixed success), and I’m heading ashore for provisions thanks to Mitsu kindly lending me his car. A Canadian sailing couple has arrived nearby—always nice to see new faces out here. It’s a typical day of small adventures and daily logistics from life aboard Wahine. Whether it’s figuring out how to cap the SUP without losing half the air or rowing 400 meters to shore, life afloat keeps you humble. One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, featured on BBC South East Today lunchtime news whilst sailing on her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. She is attempting to become the first female wheelchair user to complete a solo, non-stop, unassisted circumnavigation of the UK and Ireland. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund.
