Levante designed, built and installed a custom multifunctional stainless steel structure tailored specifically to the boat. The project combined solar generation, future wind power integration, dinghy handling and rope management into a single solution designed around the yacht's geometry and daily use. Particular attention was given to strength, functionality and aesthetics, ensuring the structure integrated naturally with the boat's lines. Video by Origami Videography

The weather set up an awesome sun obscured by clouds on our Sail in the Charleston Harbor! Such a great way to get out and see the weather, especially the cold front "wedge" across the entire skyline. Get out and get some adventure! Sailing by the Charleston Battery at 8+ knots under our keel! Such fun to catch the wind in your sails!

Gig Harbor Boat Works demonstrates a prototype of a new tandem rowing system that allows two rowers to face each other while rowing! Recently we had a request from a couple who enjoyed rowing and wanted a tandem sliding seat boat... but wanted to be able to see each other while both of them are rowing. That sounds like a tough request, but we enjoy 'imagineering' anything! We built a 16.5 Melonseed rowboat with tandem sliding seats, then incorporated standard aft-facing forward position with a forward-facing aft position. The result? Perfect fore and aft trim, remarkable speed excellent directional control AND the rowers can converse easily!
