The Sea of Cortez, also known as the Gulf of California, is a stunning body of water that separates the Baja California Peninsula from mainland Mexico. This region is renowned for its diverse marine life, breathtaking landscapes, and numerous islands, making it a perfect destination for sailing catamaran adventures.

Noi 1/2 giorni e atterreremo a Mindelo!! ? #barcavela #barcaavela #traversataatlantica #vivereinbarcaavela #vitainbarca #vivereinbarca

We stopped on over to Long Island from George Town, Bahamas for a few days. We anchored out in Thompson Bay, near Salt Pond. There's a dinghy dock that is privately owned north of the Government Dock. We've been told that the owners are very gracious to allow cruisers to use it...and we agree. It's super nice. Just outside of the fence, there are some garbage cans for garbage. I forget about the exact name of the street, but I learned it's named after the family that owns the property nearby, Basil. Take a right on Queens Highway and the Farmer's Market is on the right. Perhaps a quarter mile down the road. We bought Long Island Salt, Long Island Pepper Salt, Hot Sauce, Fresh Dill, Fresh Basil and Zucchini Bread. We'll definitely be going back should we return to Long Island...and I expect we will. #sailingcatamaran #boatlife #catamaran #travelvlog #digitalnomad #lifestyle #sailboats #sailing #cruising #offgrid #nomad #sail #boat #multihull #whileone #sailingwhileone #bigseas #lifeafter50 #sailinglife
