This crescent moon-shaped tiny island is located off Carriacou, an island in the Grenadines. There's nothing on it but white sand, luscious palm trees, colorful rocks, and hermit crabs! Sandy Island has been a favorite of ours for years. Every morning, Simon and I dinghy to the island, walk the beach seven times (to close my iPhone fitness circle), and then wade in the perfect cooling sea waters. During our walk, I must say 100 times, 'Oh my gosh, it is so beautiful here!' Each time I realize the beauty, my body fills with gratitude, and I thank my lucky stars that I decided to become a sailing cruiser! #sailingexperience #sailinglife #sailingadventure #short

** Infinity Expedition lands in Auckland after 2 weeks offshore*** What a view! - Watch in Full HD We had a tranquil passage from Vanuatu, with light but consistent winds. Land ahoy was the word when we first spotted land, what a feeling! Arrival was in the first hours of the morning, sun raising behind us, and on the distance the skyscrapers. Quite a shock for most of the crew, after months in the tropical South Pacific. Auckland is our home for the next few weeks, while we get ready for our next Journey - Antarctica! Ci eravamo stati a lungo all’andata, qui a Torrevieja. È perfino in un episodio su YouTube. Ancorare qui è stato come rincontrare un vecchio amico. Invece le nostre condizioni sono tutta un’altra cosa. Dopo una notte controvento, fatta di onde che rallentano la barca e raffiche impossibili da sfruttare a vela, il sole sorge e rende più facile tenere gli occhi aperti. Alle 10 iniziamo con le call, ma il mare contro ci rende la vita difficile. Originariamente l’idea era di non fermarci a Torrevieja e proseguire fino a Formentera,’anticipando il ventone di domenica. Ma poi pensiamo “Chi ce lo fa fare di stressarci inutilmente?”. Rapido check al meteo, poi tagliamo su Torrevieja. Ancoraggio facile, finiamo le call, ci alleniamo, finiamo di vedere un filmone (American History X) e poi dritti e letto. Domani vi racconteremo di due signori incontrati qui che avevamo visto (sempre qui) all’andata, parecchi mesi fa. A domani! Camilla
