After kindly being gifted a cook book by a Trinidadian vendor at the Central Market in Port of Spain I've been practicing cooking different local dishes. It's a style of cooking that's jam packed with spices and fresh ingredients that pack a punch in terms of flavour! I know how seriously the people of Trinidad and Tobago take their cooking so wanted to make sure I could do a decent effort before I shared how it went! We had an great day at Wildwopd at Escot in East Devon this weekend. This brilliant family day our has plenty of amazing animals, many of which are native to the UK and either threatened or sadly wiped out here.
