While looking for a cell phone signal in my tender outside of Squirrel Cove in Desolation Sound, this whale surfaced just off my stern. A nine foot boat feels rather small in comparison. I just sat and watched for quite some time until it was out of sight.

The video begins with a pan of the azure blue waters of Manta Point, and fades into an underwater scenery. Here we have a shot of a Manta cleaning station and two manta's dancing together, just to the background. Don't worry we used a GoPro Hero3+ to film this video, with a red filter and a MACRO lens...! We pan to a shot of a Manta Ray flirting with us, effortlessly battling the current, until it approaches our diver in a crazy BUCKET LIST moment.
