What if the most beautiful memories were made at sea, far from your day-to-day life? ✨ The Lagoon 38 offers a place of freedom for sharing, exploring, and savoring every moment. Because true luxury is time spent together. 💙 _______________________________________________________ CATAMARAN INNOVATORS SINCE 1984 Lagoon was formed in pursuit of connection – with ourselves, our loved ones and the world around us. By bringing the human experience to the 7 seas, we’ve been able to unleash an unbridled sense of curiosity and instinctual need for quality since 1984. Something we wouldn’t have accomplished without a collective passion for spectacular destinations and even better journeys getting there. As confirmed sailors, we all know that our boats have to be fast, comfortable and safe: seaworthy. We build them based on our love of the sea and the constant aim of good-quality work. We design them as if we were the future owners. As shipbuilders and sailors, it is part of our logic. 13:00 hours August 28, 2011. The engine is running to recharge the battery. I'm in the cabin and only find the corner of one cushion is wet. Everything else is in great shape. Nothing broken. Only a wet cushion. The exterior of the boat is good and The Force, our dinghy, is just where we left her. Winds probably didn't get higher than 50 mph our mettle wasn't tested to the max but it was tested.
Discrimination and harassment in the workplace can limit opportunities and affect safety, especially for women in traditionally male-dominated industries like ship recycling. This video highlights these challenges, showing why awareness and respect are essential for a safe, inclusive, and productive workforce. By shining a light on these issues, IMO’s SENSREC Project encourages conversations, policy improvements, and practices that support equality and fairness. Visit https://sensrec.imo.org/ to learn how raising awareness can help create workplaces where everyone can thrive, contribute safely, and shape a sustainable maritime future.
