It's not Maine, the Pacific Northwest or British Colombia...I'm sailing a Colorado lake nestled high in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. The sailboat is our 2010 Precision 18 trailer sailer, s/v "Mandatory Fun." Winds were perfect, so I sailed "wing-on-wing" along the rugged shoreline on a dead downwind run under a full mainsail. Toni and I left Solomons and headed North. We were looking for an anchorage to spend the night so we could return home the next day. The sailing was great and we found a large isolated spot to drop our hook. The beauty of having a shallow draft. Peaceful and tranquil, with cool breezes :)
