Who's the fastest windsurfer ever? ▫️ We ran a reel recently on the 500m World Sailing Speed Record currently held by Paul Larsen on Sailrocket 2. There are quite a few windsurfers on the list. ▫️ We got quite a few comments asking "where is Bjorn Dunkerbeck?" While he doesn´t hold any 500m sailing records, he has held 3 outright records over a nautical mile and also hit 55.97 knots over a 2 second time gap in 2021. ▫️ So here he is. It was time to leave the Bahamas and make our way back to the United States. We dropped our friends off at Green Turtle Cay Marina and started to make our way to either Charleston, Beaufort or, ideally, Mathews, VA. The channel was a bit more tricky than I had expected.
