Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden. Living in a shipyard you don't expect to see a baby turtle up close and personal but we were lucky enough to do just that when this little one turned up! While we often spot adult turtles out on the water in Chaguaramas, Scotland Bay, Gasparee and Chacachacare, and have even swum with them before in the Philippines, this was our first time watching a baby go past.
