The Royal Malta Yacht Club hosted its second race of the 2025 season on Saturday evening, when the Thomas Smith Triple Handed Night Race took place. The short handed race began in very light winds, with a shifty breeze and an easterly swell setting the stage for a testing night on the water. As the fleet made its way up the coast, towards the tuna pens outside St. Paul’s Bay, competitors had to navigate higher angles, gybe frequently, and deal with unpredictable wind conditions, particularly close to the fish farms which had to be navigated by most in pitch dark.

Giorno 69 - Cadice Una giornata passata veloce: ci svegliamo e smarchiamo subito le call in programma. Max ed Ele vanno a fare un giro a puerto Santa Maria. Dopo pranzo diamo un’occhiata a Starlink, che da ieri ha deciso di abbandonarci. Per evitare di intristirci prendiamo un nuovo cavo, aspettiamo che arrivi e sospendiamo il giudizio a data di arrivo spedizione. Prendiamo l’auto, andiamo a Jerez e ci perdiamo nelle sue luci.
