During our time in Trinidad we spent a weekend at Chacachacare aboard a HUGE catamaran, kindly hosted by HQ2 Charters. One of the highlights was a Trinidadian catch and cook crabbing experience with our Trini mate Neil, who cooked a Tobago Crab Curry inspired recipe that was accidentally missing a few ingredients - you can blame the Stag and rum! It was also our first introduction to Trinidad's Moruga scorpion pepper - that stuff is a spicy flavour bomb in your mouth! In order to ensure a perfect installation, we first dry-fit the composite deck of the LM46 to the cold-molded hull. Once perfected, we lift the deck off, apply a layer of adhesive, and move the deck back in to place. Here is a timelapse of that process. The first hull of this new performance cruiser will be launching this summer 2021.
