Welcome to Day 2 of our Christmas calendar! ? Today, we're diving into the galley-our compact yet highly functional kitchen on Vela. ? Placed on the starboard side, just behind the nav station, our galley is designed for safety and efficiency: ? Longitudinal layout ensures we can cook securely even when the boat heels. ?? Big fridge and freezer for all our provisions. ? Gas stove for cooking up delicious meals, even mid-passage. ? Double sink with 3 water outlets: Pressurized fresh water (hot/cold) Manual fresh water pump Manual saltwater pump (great for rinsing without wasting fresh water). On the opposite side, we have a spacious prepping area, and while we once had a microwave, we've replaced it with storage and an espresso machine-because we appreciate a good cup of coffee! ? What would you cook in this galley? Drop your ideas or questions in the comments! ? ? See you tomorrow for the next part of our boat tour! ?
