We sail out of the hove to position by centring the helm and allowing the wind, which was on our port side, to come around the stern of the boat, onto our starboard side. The Sea Champ 18 was a cool little fishboat we found on display at the Southampton Boat show, and it illustrates a lot of the differences between boats built on this side of the Atlantic, versus those built over there in the UK. Even though it's just 18' it has a pilothouse. But, it still has a ton of fishing room in the open cockpit. The Brand banks 32 is a classic trawler yacht.
