We are a New Sailing Couple Preparing To Install Windlass! This is one short video of several that show part of the process. In this video, Chris is dry-fitting the Windlass, which is fitting before any sealant supplies. He cut two large holes--(a 4" and a 3"), for the chain and the windlass. He also drilled 3/8" mounting holes. Our deck was 5" thick--which is exceptionally THICK! He treated the holes with epoxy to prevent water intrusion. If you dig our journey as a new sailing couple, learning to sail, buying a Sceptre 41, getting ready to sail and launching, we would love you to follow along: Join us on our website at: https://gypseaexplorer.com/ Or on our Instagram Channel: https://www.instagram.com/writerjacks/ Or for another windlass installation video, click here: https://youtube.com/shorts/Sx7oWQS4Keo

LIVE from METS TRADE 2022 - Gineico Marine visited METS TRADE 2022 in Amsterdam, in particular the Foresti & Suardi stand who manufacture elegant and smart marine accessories in Italy. The smart and innovative Knock Down Tap is 1st to catch our attention..... Foresti & Suardi have some exciting new products again this year, and one of the items I want to show you is this beautiful Knock Down tap. So these applications are for where you have a closure over the top of the sink; where you want to continue the benchtop and the tap allows you to Pivot but also compresses before you close the lid over the faucet. Another very clever product is this two-part sink. It's a very compact design designed for small bay heads where it has an extendable sink basin design - very very clever - a special molded acrylic product. OVERVIEW: The Foresti & Suardi range includes lights, deck accessories, hull fittings, hatches, portholes, sinks, taps, showers and instruments. represent leading Italian heavy duty marine hardware in Australia and New Zealand.
