Bareboat or crewed in the BVI, and what you actually need to hold: https://mybvicharter.com/charter-questions/bareboat-or-crewed-bvi/?utm_source=youtube&utm_content=l8tgEsCmJIM The BVI will not ask you for a license. Charter companies here ask for a sailing CV instead: a record of what you have actually handled on a boat. The license rule most people have heard about belongs to places like Greece, where you need an ICC or equivalent. If your resume holds up, we can arrange the bareboat and you take her yourself. If it does not, take a captain for the first trip, then decide whether you missed the wheel. Fully crewed charters are our specialty, and we have been aboard these boats. Tell us your sailing experience, your dates and your group, and we will tell you honestly which way the week should run.
