The J109 is at the start of the regatta, positioned perfectly for a great start. It was a great day for sailing with the sun shining and close racing between all the boats, all hoping to take the win. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying the short clips from the 2025 racing season.

Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden. After trying a range of home cooked dishes and practicing cooking Trinidadian cuisine I'm starting to learn the flavour profile! It's delicious but so different to what I'm used to growing up in Australia, where Asian and European cooking influences are more common. Want to know why Australians love lamb? Google our Australia Day lamb ads and take it with a sense of Australian humour 😉 After some internal debate I decided to try cooking some lamb in a curry inspired by Trinidad cooking, using pimento, peppers, Chief spices and of course, green seasoning.
