This was the first video I ever tried to film. I needed a distraction from what was ahead of me. 3 years ago, with a keel and hull flexing issue back in Scotland. I almost start tearing up remembering this terrible time. The yard was quite far from home, so I had to sleep in the car at the carpark, eat ready meals from the supermarket and shower wherever. Dicen que ceñir es de pobres y seguramente lo será. Pero cuando uno nace así, le gustan las sensaciones fuertes y la ceñida es la emoción de la vela. Unos buenos bordos en ceñida, o una buena estrategia para llegar del punto A al punto B, son a mi entender el secreto de una buena navegación a vela. Quizás sea el motivo por el que me gusta navegar.
