Ever wondered what it really takes to keep a sailboat running and ready for adventure? In this video, I break down our regular liveaboard expenses - from memberships, fuel, and insurance to marina life - plus the big-ticket upgrades and repairs that have kept us cruising, like a new alternator, starter motor, anchor chain, and even sails. I’ll share how these costs add up over time, what surprised us the most, and a few lessons we’ve learned along the way. Whether you’re planning to live aboard or just curious about the behind-the-scenes of sailing life, this one’s for you. Is this more or less than you expected? Tell me below 👇
