Even if you're not so sure about cave diving, the courses are absolutely worth experiencing. You can even split them up and just try Cavern or Cavern and Intro to Cave instead of committing to all of the complex navigation of the Full Cave Course right away. The skills and scenarios develop your abilities as a teammate and diver, which will help you in all of your future scuba endeavors. This was my reaction to the first attempt at launching Freddie, after over a week of waiting past the day we were told we would be launched… We put our lives on hold to get her ready and to show up for this, not to mention getting our hopes way up that we would finally see her off land and back where she belongs, in the water… My heart was hurting and I felt frustrated… but tried to focus on positives.
