The Lagoon 60 has launched in Bordeaux! ▫ Lagoon's latest sailing catamaran slots in between the 55 and the SIXTY 5. Aft, terraces swing down from the sides of the boat to give you a big platform next to the ocean at anchor.  ▫ @LagoonCatamarans1984 ▫ Accessed by a door forward of the saloon, there's a large forward cockpit area and they have designed the flybridge to be their most comfortable yet. It extends forward of the helm to the mast which is stepped further forward compared to previous designs. ▫ With the mast forward, the saloon is opened up into one big connected space with the aft terraces and forward cockpit. There are Galley Up and Galley Down (Bar Up) versions. ▫ Looking forward to seeing this yacht in Mallorca or Cannes! ▫ #new #design #yachts #lagooncatamarans #multihulls

On a smartphone: Move your phone in the direction you want to look If your boat is pulled up alongside a dock and the wind is pushing you into the dock, how do you get away safely? What if your boat is sandwiched between two other boats? Use spring lines! Mark Corke of BoatUS Magazine and Jennifer Dedamo of the BoatUS Foundation show you how to get your boat away from the dock bow first in this 360 degree video. Simply run a line from the boat, around a piling on the dock, and back to the boat as a pivot point to bring the boat's stern out. Reverse until the bow of the boat is clear of the pier or the boat in front of you, and pull away. For more information, visit https://www.BoatUS.com/Magazine.
