Azzurra’s 1983 debut turned Italian sailing into a national passion. Backed by icons like Agnelli and the Aga Khan, it laid the foundation for today’s Italian America's Cup campaigns—culminating in Naples hosting the 38th edition. The Louis Vuitton 38th America's Cup will be defended in Naples, Italy by five-time America's Cup winner, the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron represented by their team, Emirates Team New Zealand; and the British team led by Sir Ben Ainslie, Athena Racing, as the official Challenger of Record. 3 weeks into Cody's stay in Norway, I got to see more and more of his crazy. I didn't really have a harness at the time, so Cody climbed the mast to the second speeader using a spare halyard with a loop for one of his hands to hold...! We were enjoying the sense of freedom, getting to know each other, and a Norwegian summer in MAY- without a single day of rain. Cody was in awe of the fact that the ice had just melted a few weeks before, and we were all swimming. #May30-2018 #shorts
Mersincik is an anchorage that we've visited a few times now and it never ceases to impress. The dramatic sheer cliff faces mount a bright rising moon whilst the red setting sun casts eerie shadows across the bay. Just off the beach is this little cove and if you're lucky you get it for yourself for the night. [] www.followtheboat.com [] * tales from the high seas *
