The Archipielago de Revillagigedo is home to seven species of sharks, playful bottlenose dolphins, inquisitive manta rays, and clouds of jacks, barracuda, and wahoo. From mid-February to mid-April, humpback whales visit this area offering guests opportunities for surface sightings and, when mother nature allows, a unique chance to see them underwater. ► Since 1973, the La Rochelle Boat Show, known simply as “Le Grand Pavois” in French, has been THE not-to-be-missed afloat show on France’s Atlantic coast. With 750 boats on display and a record 80,000 visitors, the 2023 event (that ran from September 20 to 25, so a little earlier than usual) clearly benefited from the scheduled absence of the Paris Boat Show at the end of the year.
