The most famous image of Mykonos is the five windmills standing on a small hill by the water, which you can already see from a distance when approaching the town. Most of the windmills face north and were built by the Venetians in the 16th century. They also look stunning at sunset. Living in a shipyard you don't expect to see a baby turtle up close and personal but we were lucky enough to do just that when this little one turned up! While we often spot adult turtles out on the water in Chaguaramas, Scotland Bay, Gasparee and Chacachacare, and have even swum with them before in the Philippines, this was our first time watching a baby go past.
