Five years ago this month, I moved on board Wahine, embarked on my maiden voyage, and started this YouTube channel. My Grandson and family were with me and he took this video. Some of you may remember Sasha, the little falcon we rescued after finding her exhausted in the ocean. She couldn’t fly and was far too weak to survive on her own, so she became an unexpected crew member aboard our catamaran for about two weeks. We made sure she had food, a safe place to rest, and time to recover. Day by day, her strength returned until she was finally ready to fly free again. Looking back at these memories reminds us how lucky we were to share part of our journey with such a beautiful wild bird.
