Where a yacht is based and licensed affects your pickup point, your transfer plan and which boats make the shortlist. Over the last few years, the BVI has tightened rules for yachts starting in the USVI, so the answer is checked for each boat and each week, not looked up once. Before anything is booked, we check three things: where the yacht is based for your dates, whether she is set up for the pickup and drop-off you want, and whether your route crosses between USVI and BVI waters.
