Passengers onboard our Silversonic dive and snorkel vessel and Pro Dive Cairns Liveaboard vessel had rare whale shark encounters within days of each other at Turtle Bay on the Agincourt reefs (Silversonic) and at Flynn Reef off Cairns (Pro Dive Cairns). The spectacular whale shark sighting encountered by Silversonic's passengers and crew measured around 6m in length and was travelling slowly in a north west direction. Video footage thanks to Shane "Sharky" Down! Snorkelling with the whale shark photos thanks to Pro Dive Cairns. http://www.silverseries.com.au/ http://www.prodivecairns.com/
We tried out the ferry service from the Isle of Kererra to Oban. There is a booking system so you know exactly when you will travel which we lovec. Its great value for money and made exploring Oban very easy and stress free. In addition its great if you need supplies from the big Tesco. We would recommend!
