Het eiland Ios in de Cycladen is niet zo bekend, maar een prachtig eiland! Ios Chora (oftwel Ios Stad) ligt spectaculair op een bergtop. We zijn op onze e-bike en de e-step gestapt en de klim naar Ios stad gaf een prachtig uitzicht op dit deel van het eiland. We gingen nog verder omhoog en we stopten bij een serie oude windmolentjes. Deze herinneren aan het agrarische verleden van Ios. Waarbij je ook weer uitzicht had op Ios stad zelf. Mooi!

► A not-to-be-missed event for boating enthusiasts on the U.S. East Coast, the Annapolis Boat Shows attract some 100,000 visitors every year. The event is in fact two separate boat shows held in the same spot, but a week apart. The Powerboat Show, dedicated just to powerboats (417 units on display), was held from October 3 to 6, followed by the Sailboat Show from October 10 to 14. It’s the latter of the two that we’ve selected for you. The event provided an opportunity to take stock of how the multihull sector is taking hold in the United States: we counted 56 two- or three-hull units compared with 96 monohulls, totaling nearly 30% of the offer.
