Today the flagship 108-meter FB275 has been delivered at the Benetti shipyard in Livorno. She is the longest yacht ever built by any private Italian shipyard. Featuring exterior design and décor by RWD and interiors by Benetti’s in-house design team. Onboard amenities such as her large swimming pool, on board cinema, fire pit and treasure trove of water toys make her live up to her Giga yacht status. Shortly after the start of the 2024 Ardglass Race the team on GTR forgot that they were the second fleet to start and that there were a bunch of cruisers that that they need to pass on the way to the narrows. The mainsheet man heard the call of starboard and pointed out that they need to duck quick to avoid the right of way yacht. A quick ease of the main followed by a duck had GTR heading out the the building pressure on the right before taking over on the starboard and heading for the entry of the narrows.
