It's no secret I love going to the Central Market in Port of Spain, the capital city of Trinidad & Tobago. Hailed by many live aboard yacht cruisers as one of the best fresh food markets in the Caribbean, we get almost all of our fresh produce from there. The shrimp is freshly caught so I buy some every week, but this time we got to try a giant king prawn, the biggest I've ever seen! Safe to say it was delicious! Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden.
