Just minutes into our journey, the first moored sailboat with people on it was a fellow Mark Twain Lake sailor I had met when we first started sailing Galactica. Fortunately, Matt recognized Galactica and called my name. He works at a boatyard on the Calumet and invited me to grab a dock space with electricity!!! It was perfect for us. We spend the night in Puerto de Cabrera, the natural port of the main island. Puerto de Cabrera 39ยฐ08'54.5"N 2ยฐ55'43.9"E The port entrance is hidden until you are in a lovely large sheltered bay, with mooring buoys with a 15th Century castle on the port side, that rises from a clump of stones.
