After renting out their house in New Zealand, Renee and Lynette pushed off aboard their steel sailboat Tekaihau to sail around the world. They have sailed over 30,000 nautical miles and visited 16 countries so far. Just another 8000 miles to go... This week we skipped our weekly video as we have been busy with home renovations and simply lack of sailing. However, we never miss an opportunity to embrace natures beauty, this time in the form of a common dolphin family swimming by our anchorage. Two of the four adults had younglings with them, who they seem to be teaching. Pretty cool to spot them by your front door ! Nature is awesome and nature needs us as much as we need it ! Perhaps modern technology will and already is able to show us the incredible similarities we all share, the complex social behaviours and interactions, the meaning of family and so much more :) Ps.
