This is a short video with an impression of the workshop that I gave on the 'ATD International Conference and Expo' at 22. Mai 2023 in San Diego. ATD is the American Association for Trainers, the largest worldwide with 300.000 members. For 80 years now, they organize every year a 4 day conference in a city in the USA. I've been a speaker 3 times before and now is the 4th time. The topic that I presented was about Online Training, because I am a 100% online trainer now at the catamaran. I shared my 10 best tips on keeping the participants attention when you are an online trainer: https://atdconference.td.org/speakers/laura-van-den-ouden The tips come from the Dutch bestseller that I wrote in 2020 which is called '100 Online werkvormen': https://experttrainers.nl/100-online-werkvormen-e-book/. This E-book is also translated in English, titled '100 online working methods for online training'. The training was a success! There was room for 130 participants and about 300 people showed up, so extra chairs were ordered, or people had to sit on the ground or lean against the walls :). I used a bingo card and 10 online tips, also telling about the fact that I train on a catamaran. It was a practical session, it was nice that the session was appreciated by other international trainers!
