The crew on J109 Going to Red had some close tussles with J109 Ctrl-J during Cork Week 2024. For the most part Going to Red was faster upwind with Ctrl-J making up ground on the runs. GTR was doing all it could to slip down to leeward to stay in front of the fast charging blue spinnaker. Only a few months ago our Indian friend Gladwin couldn't swim. He couldn't even jump in a shallow swimming pool to begin with and yet now, thanks to myself and Brian he is doing lengths.
