One of the few ways to earn money for school and dedication in these areas is to pan for gold. To maximise our time in the air we opted for a carefully timed run from Bankstown Airport which worked to perfection! Unfortunately our flight was somewhat curtailed after an early recall due to thunderstorm activity in the area of Bankstown Airport. What a different take on the race this year, with an east sou'easterly breeze scattering the fleet to all corners as soon as they left the harbour. More to come over the next few days.
