One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, featured on BBC South East Today evening news on leaving Brighton Marina at the start of her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. She is attempting to become the first female wheelchair user to complete a solo, non-stop, unassisted circumnavigation of the UK and Ireland. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. During our time in Trinidad we spent a weekend at Chacachacare aboard a HUGE catamaran, kindly hosted by HQ2 Charters. One of the highlights was a Trinidadian catch and cook crabbing experience with our Trini mate Neil, who cooked a Tobago Crab Curry inspired recipe that was accidentally missing a few ingredients - you can blame the Stag and rum! It was also our first introduction to Trinidad's Moruga scorpion pepper - that stuff is a spicy flavour bomb in your mouth!
