Sat at anchor - Don't they ever sleep in this place? #boatlife #greece #sailing We are on the island of Leros sat at anchor in the bay and it's their celebration of the Dormition of the mother of God. Which means they were partying with live music on the quay from 10pm to 6am this morning, and then at around 7am just after we had got to sleep the church bells started ringing. Greek life! The Lahakai sailboat is a 34” custom built steel sailboat, made in 1997 in France and sailed all the way to the shores of Brazil. It was then brought to Niteroi where she sat completely neglected in a boat club for 10 years. And that’s when we found her!
