One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, featured on BBC South East Today lunchtime news whilst sailing on her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. She is attempting to become the first female wheelchair user to complete a solo, non-stop, unassisted circumnavigation of the UK and Ireland. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. Five years ago this month, I moved on board Wahine, embarked on my maiden voyage, and started this YouTube channel. My Grandson and family were with me and he took this video. It’s been a journey filled with highs and lows, living the dream with the occasional nightmare. Having explored 70 ports, I’ve covered half of Japan and there's so much more to come.
