Homebuilt Schionning Arrow 1280-S by @dualitysailing (IG) ▫️ The Arrow 1280-S is a low cost concept, focused on performance with narrower hulls, shallower draft and a practical interior layout. With a 100% flat panel construction that has made the Arrow Series such a popular design. ▫️ The Arrow 1280-S evolved from the Arrow 1200: a stretched version with a large cockpit with the door set to port, allowing a big table and plenty of seating for entertaining guests. Dual helms are standard and set on the outer hull edge giving good visibility of the sails. ▫️ The saloon has a U-shaped galley and saloon with the nav station amidships to port, with the single head and shower located aft. This week our boatlife brings us to Stromboli in the Aeolian Islands, where we are anchored right next to Megayacht Feadship - formerly known as Steve Jobs' Yacht 'Venus'. We realized that Italy is not just a sailing destination for charter boats and cruisers but also a stopover for many superyacht owners, who want to get a glimpse of the volcanoes and beautiful coastline of Lipari, Vulcano, Salina, Stromboli, Filicudi, Alicudi and Panarea. I guess in the sailing lifestyle you always get surprised: One day you see Stromboli erupting right from the deck of your sailboat and the next day you wake up to have Steve Jobs' luxury yacht anchored next to you. But 99% of the time it is doing jobs in exotic places, covered in oil, salt and fiberglass.

Podendo ser alguns dias antes ou depois. Lhe informaremos a data correta mais próximo do dia. A the ocean race é a maior regata (corrida de veleiros) do mundo e acontece desde de 1973. Os barcos literalmente dão a volta ao mundo e tem como a maior e mais difícil etapa chegar até Itajaí, a única parada na América Latina. São cerca de 12 mil milhas náuticas (23 mil km) somente nessa etapa da prova, que sai de Cabo Verde - África do Sul e chega em Itajaí. Mas engana-se quem pensa que eles farão o trajeto mais curto que seria atravessar o atlântico, eles virão pelo outro lado, passando pelo oceano Índico, pacífico e finalmente chegando ao Atlântico. Dos 5, 4 veleiros continuam na disputa. O GUYOT(EUR) teve um problema estrutural e precisou suspender temporariamente há cerca de 600 milhas de Cabo Verde. Já da pra imaginar a emoção dessa chegada, né? Vem com a gente ⛵
