The crew on J109 Going to Red had some close tussles with J109 Ctrl-J during Cork Week 2024. For the most part Going to Red was faster upwind with Ctrl-J making up ground on the runs. GTR was doing all it could to slip down to leeward to stay in front of the fast charging blue spinnaker. Those of you who like adventure will be able to enjoy the unique opportunity of snorkeling in these clear waters. Swimming or just relaxing in our deck is also recommended. Stay alert and your eyes might catch the beautiful Wild Dolphins that like to play around the area. After snorkeling the crew serves lunch, which you eat on board, then you can take a dip in the ocean and party all the way back to the city. The time spent on the Island is from 3 to 4 hours.
