With the topping lift stuck at the top of the mast and and the spare halyard need for a kit peel the only option was to go up the mast and get it. Our bowman who is never one to do things by half decided the stop off for a quick pole walk on the way down to reconnect and grab the spare halyard had the team on Redline Racing back in the game. Die Halse mit Spinnaker und den doppelten Schoten und einem asymetrischen Spinnaker Baum ist anspruchsvoll aber auch sehr sicher bei viel Wind. In meinen Segeltrainings ist dies das Königsmanöver. Auf einem Törn eher selten, dann schon eher beim Skipper Training auf Mallorca zu finden.
