Living in a Trinidad shipyard for over a year many of the friends we've made either work in the area or are into boating or sailing. One Trini friend was heading out for a lime DDI and kindly invited us to come along - our final destination was my favourite getaway, Chacachacare! He has a small monohull sailboat that's great for Caribbean island hopping. With our catamaran having been stuck on land for over 14 months undergoing warranty repairs it felt so good to get out on the water, put a sail up and go where the wind takes us!

THIS is why we go sailing. To be all alone and at one with nature in amazing anchorages like the one featured here. We spent days swimming naked, kayaking and exploring tunnels leading to hidden lagoons full of wonder. Floating calmly in warm, crystal-clear waters above pure white sands, brilliant corals and abundant sea life while surrounded by amazing rock formations and lush, tropical jungle with the air filled by birdsong. If this place, hidden away in the Buton Strait of Indonesia isnโt Natureโs Playground we donโt know what is. It was simply our most stunning anchorage EVER! #sulawesiindonesia #nakedinnature
