Happy Holidays Everyone! For the first time in many years we are off Calico Skies for the holiday season. We flew from Phoenix to NYC to clear and old storage unit and then drove down to Charlotte to spend the holidays with Bill's family. For New Year's Eve we will be in Breckenridge CO and then finally back to Mexico to get Calico ready for another season of cruising!

Weatherly was designed specifically for single-handed sailing and achieved the highest speed possible from a 65-foot boat. To meet these ambitious targets, this deep-draught boat has a displacement of just eighteen tonnes â equivalent to that of a Volvo 60! No option was left unexplored in the effort to keep the boat as lightweight as possible, and she was built in West epoxy with carbon spars, 3DL sails and a carbon rudder.
