We finally get our last head fixed. Had to replace the vacuum pump and dropped another few hundred there. We just felt that having two is better than one as we set off for blue waters. The complete replacement pump was around $800 dollars. Found this pump, while a little bigger, fit perfectly for only $200 dollars. Questa ancora ci mancava. Un delfino, cioè dico UN DELFINO, su 2 metri di fondale, in un canale. È la migliore sveglia da quando sono nato. Abbiamo sentito respirare ed è stato inconfondibile. Gli occhi lo hanno solo confermato. Dopo una sveglia così non si poteva che migliorare: le condizioni del mare sono perfette. Mollati gli ormeggi da Antigua facciamo prua su Barbuda, una delle isole più selvagge dei Caraibi. Durante la navigazione ascoltiamo buona musica e ci ricordiamo di quanto sia bello navigare a vela. È proprio vero che è sempre, e ancora una volta, tutta una questione di equilibri. Dopo tanti giorni di navigazione non vedi l’ora di stare fermo e goderti la terra Dopo tanti giorni di terra non vedi l’ora di mollare gli ormeggi.
