Step aboard the MJM 47X—a premium luxury island cruiser purpose-built for Bahamas and Caribbean boating, combining open-bow entertaining with the confidence of an all-weather pilothouse. Designed and built in North Carolina, the 47X delivers MJM’s signature stability, efficiency, and smooth ride, with the space and versatility to make every day on the water feel effortless. What makes the 47X such a standout island platform is how naturally it fits the Bahamas lifestyle: easy dock-to-cockpit flow, multiple social zones, and a layout that keeps everyone connected whether you’re running across the bank, snorkeling a calm anchorage, or pulling up for lunch at the marina. The open bow seating adds a true “day yacht” feel, while the protected pilothouse gives you real comfort when conditions change. Power options are tailored to your cruising style, with the 47X available in twin Mercury Verado 600 hp outboards for maximum speed, simplicity, and shallow-water confidence—or equipped with high-performance Volvo Penta DPI Aquamatic sterndrives for owners who prefer a premium inboard/sterndrive setup with outstanding handling and efficiency. With joystick docking, advanced navigation, a refined galley-up social layout, and MJM’s premium fit and finish throughout, the 47X is built for owners who want to cruise the islands in comfort—without giving up speed or capability. David Walters Yachts is the MJM Yachts dealer for the Caribbean & Bahamas. If you’re considering a new MJM build, we can help you spec the perfect 47X for tropical cruising, island logistics, electronics, comfort upgrades, and delivery planning.
