So grateful for this life! Whales, dolphins, fresh fish and amazing sunsets every day! 9 years ago every single person around me said I was crazy sailing 2000nm from the Netherlands to Ibiza in winter on a 28ft boat with no experience. Experienced sailors said I wouldn’t even make it to Belgium (our neighbor country) And look at my life now. Still no money on my account (16 dollars now to be honest) but I wouldn’t want to chance my life for anything. I’ve got the most beautiful house to travel the world with, meeting amazing people daily and have adventures and experiences that no money can’t buy. Big shout out to all my sponsors that make it possible to pay for my boat maintenance so I can safely cross oceans and replace materials and products that the salt water and sun love to destroy. I think and appreciate you every day looking at my beautiful sails. When parking our dingy, we like to pull it fairly high up on the beach, but when the tide goes out, it can be a long haul to take it back to the water before we're able to row out to our liveaboard sailboat home. When we don't put an outboard motor on the dingy, we can drag it back to the water fairly quickly. On this day in Sansimion, after having some wine at the Hearst Winery, we had some fun with it.
