I was at Catalina Harbor on the "Hawaii side" of Catalina Island about 25 miles off the coast from Los Angeles. As I walked towards the Pacific, the fog started to roll in off the ocean. It rolled past "the pregnant lady" ridge and up the canyon on the opposite side of the harbor. A very beautiful but eerie sit sight. Mike Threadgill and I decided to sail RCSSC Soling "Time Flies" on Sunday 11 July 21 - Euro Cup Final day and agreed it would be good to explore the North leg of Rutland Water. We were gently sailing towards the end of the leg when we came across these really friendly folks also out for a sail.
