They come from the cold waters off Alaska and Canada to the warmer waters off Mexico to breed and give birth. During this time whales can be seen giving breaching, tail slapping, and fin waving lessons to their newborns or putting on BIG splashy shows for their friends or foes. Humpback whales are singers and their song can be heard up to 7 nm away. Listen closely and you may even hear their song through the hull of your boat.
